Maintenance of Battery for electric forklift

1.If the forklift is idle for a long time, please fully charge the battery. Before the fullcharge is placed, all switches such as the key and emergency stop shall be in the
closed state to prevent the battery power loss forklifts from normal use due to leakage.

2. It is recommended to select indoor area for forklift placement or charging. The outdoor environment is bad and the temperature may be too low to damage the battery.

3. If it is found that the forklift cannot be charged after a long time of use, the forkliftcan be started first and driven slowly without load for a while (about 15 minutes),
referred to as hot forklift, and then charged.

4. The discharged battery shall be charged in time when the battery capacity reaches20-30%. The battery may be damaged if the battery is delayed for up to 24 hours.

5. If the battery is not used for a long time, it should be charged once a month, and it should be fully charged every time. In the process of using and charging the battery,
the electrolyte level will drop and the density will increase. The charging shall be carried out after the battery is charged and left standing for 3 hours. It is strictly prohibited to add liquid before charging. The added supplementary liquid shall be pure distilled water, and it is not allowed to add electrolyte containing sulfuric acid in  the battery.

6. Keep the battery appearance dry and clean, and cover the terminal and terminal with insulation cover. The connection of each two battery cells shall be in good
contact without looseness.
