Measures for prolonging the service life of forklift engine oil
Engine oil mainly plays the role of lubrication for all moving parts.
The lubricating performance directly affects the service life of the engine. Then, how should the oil of forklift engine be extended?
1. Regularly maintain the oil filter. Long term use will lead to the blockage of filter elements.
Serious blockage will force the safety valve to open. After the safety valve is opened,
the unfiltered oil will directly enter the moving pair surface, thus aggravating the wear of parts,
resulting in the accumulation of impurities in the oil tank and accelerating the oil failure.
Therefore, the filter shall be cleaned and replaced regularly.
2. The internal combustion oil cannot enter the diesel engine oil tank.
The fuel tank is diluted to reduce the oil viscosity and lose the lubricating effect prematurely.
The fuel supply pressure of the diesel engine to the fuel injection pump is sufficient, the fuel injection engine atomizes well,
and the throttling control is reasonable to ensure fuel combustion.
3. Keep the oil pan and valve cover of the diesel engine relatively closed to prevent the invasion of sundries in the oil.
4. Select the appropriate oil type according to the needs, and select the appropriate engine oil according to different seasons and places of use.
Before oil change, the lubricating oil passage shall be cleaned in the same way as the waste oil in the body.
5. 5. The forklift shall change the oil regularly. When changing the engine oil,
drain the oil while it is hot after stopping, and clean the oil pan to prevent the remaining waste oil from mixing with the new oil and corroding the new oil.
6. Avoid oil leakage of the engine body, and the decline of the oil level at the bottom of the pool will inevitably lead to poor lubrication.

7. Keep the engine crankcase well ventilated, and timely replace the worn piston, cylinder liner or valve guide assembly to reduce the downward displacement of exhaust.
In addition, always check whether the ventilation hole is unobstructed to ensure that the exhaust gas in the crankcase can be discharged in time.
