1. Influence of low temperature environment on battery capacity
The calibration of battery capacity is based on the ambient temperature of 20 ℃ and standard air pressure.
The lower the ambient temperature, the smaller the actual usable capacity of the battery. Generally speaking,
in the low temperature environment of - 20 ℃, the practical capacity of forklift battery is only 80% of its rated capacity.
Therefore, for electric forklifts that can meet the application time requirements in the normal temperature environment,
the battery capacity may not meet the application time requirements in the low temperature environment, and the battery capacity needs to be increased appropriately.
2. Influence of temperature difference on electric forklift
In many cases, electric vehicles need to work alternately at low temperature and normal temperature.
In this case, the forklift will produce condensate slightly, which will cause damage to electrical components.
It is necessary to consider this in the planning and maintenance of forklift, otherwise the electric forklift may have frequent faults and cannot be used normally.
3. Influence of humidity on vehicle body
The humidity in low-temperature cold storage is generally high. Some parts and structural parts of the forklift are likely to be rusted,
which requires that the electric vehicle must be well protected to prevent severe corrosion or even damage.
4. Anti skid requirements in cold storage environment
The humidity in the cold storage is relatively high, the ground is also relatively wet and slippery, and the forklift may even freeze.
In this case, the forklift must have excellent anti-skid ability. Cold storage cars are usually equipped with anti-skid tires,
but this is generally not good. Because the front wheel load of the forklift is very large and the rear wheel load is very small,
the friction between the rear wheel and the ground becomes very small, resulting in side slip.
Therefore, when selecting electric forklifts for cold storage, it is necessary to consider selecting models with large tonnage.
The forklift can also produce large rear wheel load after loading, so as to prevent tire slip.
5. Influence of low temperature environment on hydraulic system
The hydraulic oil and hose used at room temperature become thick and brittle at low temperature, which is not suitable for use at low temperature.
Therefore, the electric forklift used in cold storage must use special hydraulic oil and hose to prevent damage and safety accidents.
6. Influence of low temperature environment on mechanical system
The lubricating oil and grease used at normal temperature will also change their characteristics at low temperature,
so they are not suitable for use at low temperature. Special lubricating oil and grease should be used.
Specific accessories are also required for some fine components of electric forklift, such as micro opening, sensor, fine bearing, etc.
