Notes on forklift tire storage and transportation
1. The tires should be placed in the warehouse,
which should be kept dry and ventilated to avoid being exposed to the sun.
2. Tires should be kept away from heat sources, power generation equipment and ozone production sites.
It shall not be mixed with oil combustibles and chemical corrosives.
3. The outer tire or complete set of tires shall be placed vertically,
and it is strictly prohibited to lay horizontally, stack or hang through the center.
Large tires can only be placed in a single layer, while medium and small tires can be placed in a double layer.
Rotate every two months.
4. If the inner tube needs to be stored separately, it should be filled with appropriate amount of air.
When hanging on a semicircular wooden frame, the fulcrum shall be rotated regularly,
and it shall not be folded, laid flat or stacked.
5. There should be an inventory card for tire storage, recording tire type, specification, level, brand,
production and storage date. And according to the production and storage time in batches, first in first out, sequential use.
6. When transporting tires, they shall not be mixed with oil, inflammables, chemical corrosives, etc.,
and covered with tarpaulin to avoid sunlight or rain. The long-distance transportation is erected.
When the inner tube cannot be packed separately, it needs to be in the outer tube with proper amount of air.
7. During tubeless wheel handling: for the packed tire, the bead protection belt shall not be removed during handling;
The unloaded tires shall be kept in a vertical position during storage and transportation, and shall not be stored horizontally;
It is not allowed to lift the tire directly with ropes, hooks or forks. Instead, wide fiber belts should be used;
When using forklift to handle the tire, it is not allowed to insert the fork into the bead hole for lifting.
The fork should be used to lift the tire from the side.
