Electric forklift -- use and maintenance of battery

时间:2020-07-13 10:42 点击次数:

1. When charging the electric forklift battery, the connection sequence is as follows:

A \ \ first pull out the forklift battery socket,

B \ \ connect the battery port (the socket of the mobile end on the car) with the charger,

C \ \ finally, connect the AC power supply of the charger to the AC380V or AC220V power supply.
Turn on the charging switch, the working light will be on to start charging. When the battery is fully charged, the "full indicator" will be on to indicate full charge.

Note: the arc will be generated when the charging plug is pulled out during charging. The plug can be pulled out only after the charger is turned off. After charging, there is a lot of hydrogen trapped around the battery, no open fire is allowed. The cover plate on the battery should be opened for charging.

2. Overcharge and over discharge should be avoided as far as possible. When the voltage of single battery drops to 1.70v, it should be replenished in time. When the electricity meter shows 70% or less, it is over discharge. Frequent over discharge will affect the capacity of the battery. When the battery over discharge is close to the limit value, the forklift control system will automatically start the protection function. Firstly, the lifting motor of the forklift is limited to work, and the walking motor can still work. At this time, the forklift should travel to the charging area to supplement the power.

3. The battery should be charged in time after each use, and the longest time interval should not exceed 24 hours.
4. The battery should be charged in a cool, ventilated and far away from open fire environment to avoid hydrogen explosion.

5. It is most harmful to the battery. Batteries that have not been used for a long time must be recharged once a month (ordinary charging method).

6. Battery surface, connecting wire and bolt should be kept clean and dry.

7. Battery connection must be kept in good contact, so as not to cause spark to burn the pole or cause battery explosion.

8. No harmful impurities should fall into the battery, and the instruments for measuring electrolyte density, temperature and liquid level should be kept clean.

9. Do not place any conductive objects on the battery cover to avoid short circuit of the battery.

1、 Daily inspection

1. Liquid level: below the rated liquid level, the service life of the battery will be shortened, and if the electrolyte is too small, the battery will be damaged by heating. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to whether the electrolyte is sufficient.

2. Terminals, wires and covers: the corrosion caused by oxidation at the junction of the battery terminal and the connection with the wire must be checked frequently. At the same time, the cover should be checked for deformation and heating.
3. Appearance: the dirty surface of the battery will cause electric leakage.
The surface of the battery should be clean and dry at any time.

2、 Regular maintenance:

Check the liquid level of battery electrolyte (open the battery cover to check) and specific gravity every half a month or a whole month. If the liquid level can not be seen, steam water should be added in time until the liquid level can be seen (tap water, mineral water or electrolyte can not be used). When the specific gravity deviates from the specified value, it should be adjusted.
