 Maintenance of  electric forklift charger


1. The charger should always be kept clean to prevent the intrusion of dust and moisture. Use a dry cloth or anti-static cloth to wipe it.

Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaning agents to avoid damage to the casing.

2. The charger must be protected from strong shocks or exposed to high temperature and humidity.

3. It is forbidden to disassemble the charger without authorization

4. The charger should be placed vertically in a dry and ventilated environment to avoid moisture and away from inflammables and explosives;

5. During charging, do not cover the charger, and the ventilation holes on the casing shall not be covered to ensure the heat generated

in the charger can be diffused in time.

6. The use environment temperature is not more than 40℃;

7. Do not charge a non-rechargeable battery.

8. The interval between two times of power on shall not be less than 10 seconds.

9. When the battery is fully charged, disconnect the input AC power first, then disconnect the connection between the charger and the battery.

10. After the fuses in the input and output circuits are blown, they must be replaced according to the required specifications.

The fuse should not be too thick, and it is never allowed to replace it with a wire.

The appropriate fuse should be selected according to the input and output current.

11. The brush of transformer sliding contact should be kept in good contact.

When the part of brush exposed from copper frame is less than 2mm, it should be replaced in time.

12. When it is not used for a long time, it should be placed in a dry and ventilated place and covered with a hood.
