Points for attention in selection of cold storage forklift
Because of the particularity of cold chain industry,
the operation ability of electric forklift must be considered when using electric forklift,
and the following aspects are usually considered.
1. The influence of low temperature environment on the capacity of battery.
The calibration of battery capacity is based on the ambient temperature of 20 ℃ and the standard air pressure.
The lower the ambient temperature, the smaller the actual capacity of the battery.
Generally speaking, the actual capacity of the battery is only 80% of its calibration capacity under the low temperature environment of -20 ℃.
Therefore, the electric forklift which can meet the requirements of service time under normal temperature environment may not meet the requirements of service time in low temperature environment.
The battery capacity needs to be increased appropriately.
2. The influence of temperature difference on electric forklift. In many cases,
the electric forklift needs to work alternately at low temperature and normal temperature.
In this case, it is easy to produce condensate, which will cause damage to electrical components.
Forklift design and maintenance must take this into account, otherwise the electric forklift is likely to frequent failures, can not be used normally.
3. The influence of humidity on car body. The humidity is usually high in the cold storage.
Some parts and structural parts of electric forklift are easy to rust,
which requires relevant protection of electric forklift to avoid serious corrosion or even damage.
4. Anti skid requirements in cold storage environment. The humidity in the cold storage is relatively high,
the ground is also wet and slippery, and there may even be icing. In this case, forklift must have good anti-skid ability.
Cold storage forklifts are generally equipped with anti-skid tires, but this is often not enough. Because the load of the front wheel is very large while the load of the rear wheel is very small,
the friction between the rear wheel and the ground becomes very small, resulting in sideslip. Therefore, when selecting the electric forklift for cold storage,
it is necessary to consider choosing the model with larger tonnage, so that it can maintain a larger rear wheel load after loading, and avoid tire slipping.
5. The influence of low temperature environment on hydraulic system.
The hydraulic oil and high pressure hose used at normal temperature are easy to thicken and brittle at low temperature,
so they are not suitable for use at low temperature. Therefore, the electric forklift used in cold storage must use special hydraulic oil and high-pressure hose to avoid failure and safety accidents.
6. The influence of low temperature environment on mechanical system. Lubricating oil and grease used at normal temperature will change their characteristics at low temperature,
so they are not suitable for use at low temperature. Special oil and grease should also be used in this part. Some precision components of electric forklift,
such as micro opening, sensor, precision bearing, also need to use specially designed accessories.
